B. striata

the loach I have was labelled as a B. striata (spelling?) It has a light golden-orange background color with thick and thin stripes. (black stripes) I just saw a DIFFERENT B striata at the LFS that was pale white/silver background and thin black stripes. Could this possibly be the same species but different age? If there are characteristics I should look for that will help me identify, pls. let me know. I'll go back to the store and compare. It is kinda hard to remember it all......I want a friend for my current loach. TIA amber
