Yo yo loaches

Hi, I work in a department store that sells fish also. There are 2 yo yo loaches that I had my eyes on for a while. They play in the water filter system. I am wondering what I need to do before I even buy them. What size of tank should I get? What kind of other fish? I don't plan on having a lot of fish. Just want something to start out with. Pam
