Mr Ott has a short notice on his website that it will take 2-3 years to finish the manuscript alone. If that one is finished as usual work at publishers goes, it will take a year more before the book hits the shelves (in the German version) I guess.

Concerning calculating tank volumes... I hope I don`t sound arrogant but I always wondered why Anglo-Saxons reject the metric system so stubbornly. Especially because the Americans` eagerness to "keep it simple". It`s very simple to calculate tank volumes in litre. L*W*H (in cm)/1000 = vol in litre.
