Wish I had an admirer (secret or otherwise), who bought me expensive fish. (HOMER SIMPSON VOICE........Ooh, Royal Panaque!). Mine has never touched plants actually. I have some Amazon swords in the tank and Vallisneria. My black/white spotted Pseudanthicus sp. occasionally has a go at the swords, but I think he's just algae grazing. The Panaque makes do with lots of Cucumber, algae wafers (when the Clowns & Yoyo's allow) and sinking pellets. I have lots of bogwood and roots in the tank and he rasps at that and grazes algae. Of couse you might have some more appetising plants, so it's kinda difficult to say if he will be good or like expensive salad!

Martin.
