Hans, contrary to popular belief in Germany we actually have a large selection of beer over here as well. :)

If it comes out of a tap its a pint or a half-pint. If it comes in a bottle its 33cl or even 330ml !! Or sometimes we get those single-mouthful bottles that seem popular in France that are 25cl. Its the traditional English pub thing I guess to still serve draught (or is it draft) beer in pints.

There's 8 pints in a gallon and about 30'ish gallons in my fish tank to keep this on topic... :)
