Decoding the meaning of Sidthimunki?

Today I went to a Barnes and Noble Booshop, and bought 2 books on Russian. While I was there, I saw a Latin-English Dictionary. I decided to see if I could decode some Latin names of Fish, especially the Botias. When I look for Sid thimunki, I found the meaning of Sid. Sid means: with containing many chains.

Just some more info.

Mike
