Is my clown loach sick ?

I recently added 2 clowns to my current 2 clowns in a 3 foot tank . The new clowns gave everyone ick . The two new ones nearly died . After 3-4 treatments of a sulfa product, they are all feeding again and O.K . The one clown that was the worst, is always fairly pale . It's the smallest, and l know clowns loss their color when stressed . Am l paranoid or is their anything else l should be aware of, thanks ! P.S: the three others have great color
