Loaches are funny little fish. They get stressed so easily and fall prey to disease so easily. Even if they bump their head against something, espciall in a new tank. They can just die that way faster than you can count to 10. My loach did that right before he died, laying on his side and breathing really fast. He died the next night after I put him down in a freezer bag with water. slowly lowering the temperature till he goes to sleep. Thats the best way to put down a fish that is suffering. Most people will advise that you take the fish out right away so that he don't infect the others. Its all up to you in wh
