keeping clowns with other botia's?

I have got 4 small clowns (between 2 and 3 inch now) in my 100 gallon tank (80 inches long) . All goes well, but I would like to have some more bottomfeeders. At first I would like another clown, but my LFS now only sells them of at least 4 inches. The little ones seem to be out of season. The guy in the shop said I better not buy a big one, as it would disturb the peace in the tank. (My 4 clowns do great together, one acts as a boss and grows fastest, but I see no aggression apart from the biggest one sometimes chasing a little one away from food for only a few inches). Waiting till there will be small ones again would not be the solution, he said. He told me to be glad they are getting so nicely along with each other. By the way, the price is no problem. The big ones are just about one dollar more expensive than the little ones.
