Ahah! Thanks Hans. I had a sort of instinct that this was probably going to be a Nemacheilus/Shistura type of species.

Kelly wrote to Jeff Shafer and Tom Giammarco as well, and Jeff managed to get the name "Tibetan Stone Loach", Triphophysa stoliczkae........any help?

The warm springs thing solves the question that Jeff had of the quoted temp for this fish being at conflict with the likely temp at the quoted altitude.

I did some searching on "Tibet" the other day, but only found that the high Plateaus of Tibet have 115 species of
