Loach bigots?

I have a very peaceful tank, everyone gets along pretty well. There is a good deal of interspecies mixing in the various loach piles, except for the blac kuhli loach. He is smaller than the normal:) (I am pretty sure that I have at least two different species of striped ones, but they seem to make wonderful loach piles without any differences) ones and he apparently isn't welcome to hang out with them. With the general mixing, yoyo's with dojo's, clowns with yoyo's, even the cat fish get mixed up in the loach piles at one time or another, but not this little guy. Bigotry in the fish tank, or an annoyingly active youngster? Any guesses?
