All this talk about putting play sand in the tank got me going. I put sand in about 1/2 the tank, moved the rock to the other side so the biofilter won't be totally trashed and boy is it a fun place to be. Burrowing kuhli's, the head and tail of the dojo's just visible, the frogs whom I never thought of as needing cover, sifting their way under the sand so it looks like a sand mold frog. Besides it really brightens the tank and that was something I hadn't thought about. I refuse to get pink gravel or the like, but as I add, I will go with lighter tones.
