I've been mad about Loaches since I started visiting LOL a couple years ago. Prior to that I had only kept Kuhliis. I've read many posts about these clicking sounds, but never experienced them myself. Until two nights ago. I have a community aquarium with about nine types of loaches (no clowns). When I fed my fishies some algae wafers, my big blue modesta started clicking. It was great. He would jump at the wafer face first and then make the clicking sound. I was so thrilled. It is the first time I have fed the wafers in quite a long time and he was crazy about them. I also have lohachatas and striatas in this tank which I have never heard click. I thought maybe it was just the clowns that did it. Very cool!
