I am using chrome mylar with good results too. I made reflectors out of thinwall 4" pvc sewer pipe, cut in half lengthwise. I sprayed hi-temp spray adhesive on and pressed the mylar down, then trimmed it. VERY bright, and the mylar hasn't come off or deteriorated yet. The mylar I bought at a craft store. Horticulture suppliers sell thicker stuff, but it's real expensive. ---Don
