In Response To: clown loach size (Allen)

Hi, Allen:

I have seen a few clown loaches which are as big as cat in a pet store in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. However, I have not seen in any other pets stores in North America. According to the owner, they were caugth in the wild in Indonesia.

For your information, there was an article in Practical Fishkeeping which is published in UK talked about clown loach breeding in the tank. According to the article, the clown loaches are 8-12 inches when they bred. I am not sure how accurate the article.

Philip
