Short-bodied clown loaches

Hi everyone,
This message was posted a few months ago, but didn't get any responses. However, the author has sent me a picture of these fish, so I thought I'd repost the thread. He has 7 of them, and the largest is about 3" or 75mm in length. Any comments are appreciated; it's certainly an unusual shape for a clown loach!

Hi all, just discovered this Loaches Forum page.Amongst other loaches, I have seven short-bodied clown loaches. (They look like tiger barbs in body shape from afar.) I bought them about a year and a half ago here in Singapore in a batch of 30. I have not seen anymore of them since. The question I have is, are these clown loaches special, different or just mutants? They behave just like normal clow
