Red, orange, yellow-finned loaches

Botia lecontei - "Red-Finned Loach" Botia modesta - "Orange-Finned Loach"

I was looking at "The CassiDietsch Zoo Loach Details Page" (http://www.voicenet.com/~dietsch/ldtls.html) and looked at the above 2 loaches. I am wondering what is the difference if any. I am not as accustomed to the Botia lecontei name as the Botia modesta, but I have always thought of the Botia modesta as the "Red-Finned Loach". If they were called "Orange-Finned Loach" by some, I just figured that it was because they thought that their fins looked more orange than red. I used to keep "Red-Finned" loaches (match picture of Botia modesta) and "Yellow-Finned" loaches (match picture of Botia lecontei). They looked virtually identical with the exception of the color of their fins. They always hung around together and were constantly
