Sparring behavior is natural for Clowns. When the fish "pale-out," "flutter" their fins, etc. it is a sign of sparring. They are trying to determine who is "king of the hill." It might be that they are determining who has first dibs on a certain hiding place. Here are some suggestions in order to try to change matters: (1) increasing the tank size; (2) increasing the number of Clowns; (3)Rearrange and/or provide more hiding places, etc. I'm sure others here can ad
