...personally, I don't see the use of it if stocking levels and and water quality are kept up. As I mentioned in my previous post, however, it may lead to overconfidence that replaces common aquarium maintenance practices. This is not good in my book.
Would it help? IMHO, yes, it would *help* prevent the spread of disease. I don't think it would be a perfect solution though. In order for organisms to be destroyed by the UV, it would naturally have to pass by the UV light. I don't believe that this would be 100% effective -- there always would be some lil buggers that wouldn't be sucked u
