I feed my loaches a lot:) I feed a large variety of foods and suppliment a lot of veggies in their foods. On monthly basis they will see some squash, bannana, maybe even water chesnut and bamboo shoots, and on a weekly basis they will see processed foods with spirolina in them many times a week. Also after every water change (every two weeks) they will get some frozen foods like blood worms, white worms shrimp krill and/or spirolina enhanced brine shrimp.

So if you are noticing holes in leaves and little leaf connfettie floating in the tank, spirolina additions are in order:)
