Hey JD, long time, no read! :-)

I have been passing along your "supplement your loaches with veggies & spirulina" advice quite a bit lately. Seems to be working for mine.

BTW, John, Paul, George, & Ringo (my 4 histrionica) are now in the 20 long with Tony, Mike, & Phil (the 3 striata) & that tank is just a hoot! The only other thing in there are some cardinals. The botias are constantly active, going thru all the plants leaves, all levels of the tank. They all get along well & most shyness is gone.

Made some connections at the Portland Fish Show this past weekend, one of which is a wholesaler. He says that B. sids are on his list to the importers everytime he sends it out. He says they are just not available very often. He is a big supplier to the 2 LFSs I frequent the most (The good ones). His girlfriend as some sids, but she got them as contaminents in another shipment at an LFS.
