Hello

Here's what I know. At the Tropica Web page, they have a blurb about not being able to ship into the U.S. because of the potential of the plants having nematodes in the roots of the plants. Tropica won't ship with the bare roots, no imports without a root inspection (at the whim of the customs officer of the day, of course), so no imports. California at least has a ban on hygrophilia polysperma because it is considered a noxious weed. And after seeing the growth rate in my tanks, I can see why! Of course the plant's ban didn't prevent it from making it into the LFS! If I were to embark upon the importation endeavour, I'd label the plants myself and proceed well informed, and prepared to show the plant roots! Like a border officer would know what they're looking at! Take care,

Wintek
