Fish have no taste

Hey now! While there are clear reasons why a tank of grandfather clock dimensions would be detrimental to the fish, the same cannot be said about orange plants or blue gravel. My kuhlis seem just as happy hiding in multicolored ceramic skulls as under rocks or in flower pots. Nor do they seem perturbed by the blue and purple gravel. They even seem to spend quite a lot of time on and around my Little Mermaid figurine. Tacky decor and responsible fish-keeping are not mutually exclusive.
