Itching Clowns

I have six clowns in my 55g that scratch themselves on the gravel or ornamentation. While not a constant activity, I'm concerned because I think one loach may have died from injuries due to scratching. Also have seen a red tail shark and a cory exhibit same behaviour.
Water conditions are normal except for the ever present haze. I've followed all the info regarding this, not overfeeding etc. It has cleared up some in the past week, but the water is not crystal clear by any means.
Clowns do not show ich or any other signs of disease - could it be flukes?
What is the appropriate method of treatment?
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Chris
