brown spots on clowns

I have three clown loaches that I just aquired yesterday with the christmas money that was burning a hole in my pocket. They all are active, have an appatite and are doing great! However they all have a brown spot on their forehead. I don't know what it is or what caused it. It doesn't appear to be any disease that I've ever heard of, or a fungus that I know of. I considered that for some bizzare reason it could be dye, but who would dye an already beautiful fish brown, and on it's forehead?? for all I know it could be normal but I haven't seen any other clowns with brown before. any info. or suggestions would be very much appreciated. thank you very much Thad
