In Response To: Hmmmmm.......interesting. (Martin Thoene)

-not a deep black, but a very dark gray

-about two inches

-small barbs around mouth

-very thin, but cylindrical body shape, rather than flat disc body, with a catfish like skin, rather than scales, however, bright light makes the skin glitter

-forked caudal fin

-sucker type mouth

-bottom dweller mostly -small dorsal fin closer to posterior end, is not fanned out often, black with small white tip

-tail that is completely white, my girlfriends says (although she's the one who forgot the name of it, and now they don't have them at the store) that it had a little orange in its tail at now its white

-red can be seen inside body around gills (because of heart and lungs are right there i imagine)

-small spot just above the ventral fin and to the rear, it's kind of just a light circle with a black dot

-dark eyes

-black ventral and anal fins

-i'm feeding the take plain-old flakes, but it doesn't seem interested, and seems living fine, pretty sure its a scavenger.

how's this so far? thanks for your help and interest
