Nice looking clown

I was just curious as to why there is such a diffence between the Clown Loach on the Clown Loach info page of LOL, (the picture by Ken Childs of the 8.5 incher), which is shaped very "botia" like, and the oval shaped ones (I am not reffering to the dwarf clowns that only get like 4") that I am always seeing in aquariums and web pages? Has anybody else noticed the difference? is it a species variation, is the LOL one just a really good "specimen" (I hate to call them specimens!), or does it have to do with how good and what kind of care is given to them? if it is about care, how do you get (and keep) them looking so encredibly good? Thanks in advance for any info available, Thad
