Noisy Loaches

Hey Loach lovers,

Just wanted to check up on the page and see how all the loach lovers are doing. First the latest issue of TFH that I've seen has an interesting loach that Ken has given a picture of (Botia lecontei but longer and paler). I actually own this strange fish. Anyway, just got back from a scientific meeting where I meet a very interesting researcher interested in sound production in fishes. Well when she found out that I kept multiple botia species she went ballistic. Anyway, to make a long story short she is sending me a hydrophone to do some underwater acoustic recordings of botias. So I thought I would see who here on the great LOL board had suggestions/observations on the classic clicking noises of botias or other noises loaches? I've observed the most noise with clowns, skunks, tigers, and colored finned (modesta and lecontei) during feeding, fighting, and squabbles over shelter. Any help out there? Come on loach experts. Yes, that includes you Joe, Martin, JD, Ken, et al. Just kidding but I would love to hear from all you guys-Tom
