Isolation?

I've finally come to the conclusion that the cause of my fish having shredded fins was my banded loach. But I'm not sure if I should isolate him (and an equally aggressive skunk loach) in a five gallon tank away from the peaceful fish. Will they get lonely by themselves? Will they be happy? Will they get bored without someone to pick on constantly? I haven't done it yet. I'm hoping someone could help me in deciding.
