There was an nasty e-chain-mail doing the round suggesting that all the Scots, Welsh and Irish vote for Becks as BBC sports personality of the year in recognition of him helping England to not win the world cup. Cruel but very funny to an Irishman living in Scotland. Personally, I went for Carl Fogerty.
