I had a clown loach that just loved to swim up against the current of by siphon filter and eat in there, and then return when he was done. Unfortunately, after a couple of months of doing this, he got himself stuck in there one weekend while we were gone, and he was almost dead when we came home and discovered him. He turned really white, and died a day later. I don't have any problems with my current group of six loaches. I have installed two 125 gpm pumpheads to my undergravel filtration, and a 12 in screen of bubbles behind their cave, both of which, the clowns love to swim against the current of, and I have had no other problems with fish swimming into my sip
