Clown Loach Seizures?

We have a real problem and need help from other clown loach lovers. We had three loaches that were perfect (i.e. happy, eating, out in sight most of the time). Then, an outbreak of what appeared to be the worst case of ick that came up very quickly. We treated with known ick cure medications, but had to treat several times. One of the loaches died after an agonizing drawn out two weeks. Another loach appears to have recovered unharmed. But our third loach, which still has some ick spots visible suffers from what appears to be paralizing seizures (i.e. is on his side, fast breathing, stunned). Has anyone witnessed this before - we don't know what we are dealing with, nor what effect it could possibly have on our other community fish.
