Kirsten, as you know, Clowns do some pretty funky things at times, but what you describe does sound kinda like a seizure or fit. It could be caused by internal parasitic infection, or be a side effect of the ick medication, or indeed by prolonged exposure to ick infection. As the fish apparantly doesn't behave like this all the time it could actually be a real epileptic attack. Any higher animal can have fits because we all operate by electrical impulses in the brain which can go wrong. The syptoms certainly sound right. This weekend I thought one of my Corydoras was having a similar problem. He was slightly twitchy, and kept kinda "switching off", then slowly rolling over in the same direction each time, as if having lost equilibrium. Now he is perfectly OK. Assuming that your Clown is having seizures, there's nothing you can do about it, and the other fish aren't going to catch it, BUT if he's still got ick, then the other fish could catch it at any time. When you medicated the tank did you use half-dose as recommended for loaches due to their high sensitivity to a lot of drugs? And have you raised the temp to mid-80's as this can help if the other fish will tolerate that temp.
Martin.
