Queen loaches!!

On my way home from work on Friday I decided to stop in at a little 'hole in the wall' type fish store - one I hardly ever go to - looking for B. striata, and was delighted to find a tank with about 6 little Botia dario. I had never seen them in a store before (I've been keeping loaches for only about 5 months now)and am always on the search. Anyway, I picked up 2 of them. They are pretty small and very 'slim' at this point. I was pleased that they fit into the community instantly. Yesterday I spent some time working on the tank and during the water change process they actually would 'sit' on my arm or 'bite' my arm. It totally cracked me up. It's like they're tame. For some reason this seemed to affect my other loaches because all of a sudden the younger histrionica were doing it too. What a happening! My husband got tired of me calling him over to "come see this!"
