Susan, since this loach siezure is not casued by what I thought it was here is another option. I recently also had this kind of experience but mine was caused by ick. The loach might be covered or was covered by a white coat. Do your loaches have a typ of film that cover their bodies? Also do they have any clear or white bubble on them?? Try to raise the tempreture a little bit and see what happens. Do or did any other of your fish experience this seizures? Try treating the loach in a seperate tank with the same medication you have used in the past. (Sorry, I'm not really an expert on fish medications) You also might want to go to a LFS around your area,
