cichlid tank

Hello loach lovers,

I'm planning a new tank and would like to incorporate 2 Kuhli loaches into it. The tank will be a 20 gallon long set up for convict cichlids. It will have a fine sand substrate and plenty of rocky caves. I love Kuhli loaches and I thought the sand would be great for them. An added bonus would be that they would keep the sand stirred up to prevent dead spots. Can I keep Khuli's with Convict's? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
