In Response To: Water Clarity (J)

How old is the tank? I've had trouble with water clarity in the past. It happened after i had to do a large water change due to an ammonia spike. It was suggested to me that there may be a bacteria bloom going on and that it would settle in time -- as long as water conditons were good. All of my tests were in range so i just left well enough alone and continued regular tank maintenane and it went away in about three weeks. Someone also said this is common in new tanks as the bacteria colonies are establishing themselves.
