Are clown loaches any more sensitive

Well, the time has come to get rid of our 4 ich B. hymenophylla before it causes any more damage - the plants are currently developing serrated edges where the thing has been chewing on them and the other bottom feeders are having an increasingly hard time eating in peace - we spread the food over the whole of the bottom of the tank ( 4 foot by 18 inches ) but it still manages to keep the other fish away - and attacks the surface feeders when their food goes in. Add to that the slaughtered ram and I suspect one of the corys too and you can see we have a real problem with it.
It has done something useful - the tank used to have so many snails that taking the filter apart and removing them from the impellor became a daily task - not any more.
