Flashing Loaches

Yes, they're running around naked in my tank! Seriously, I've noticed that my clown loaches occasionally flash, rubbing themselves against rocks. This doesn't happen often (I just see them doing it every now and then), and they look happy, healthy, and are eating well. Still, I've read some places that truly healthy loaches never flash and that I should be treating them for gill parasites. Is this true? If so, how do I treat? Thanks a lot!
