Help with a banded loach

About 2 or 3 weeks ago I got a Banded Loach because there was a worm problem in my tank (I have no idea how they got in there because i've never fed them live worms and there aren't any live plants), it's only a ten-gallon tank and I thought that it could handle the loach becuase a a few of the fish died so there should be enough room. After a day or two he (or she) forced the alge-eater from out of a rock he had been digging under and started digging there himself. At first he pretty much stayed under there all the time, but now he may have killed the two neon tetras (one I had gotten only about a month ago) and I think he's been shredding the tails of some of the other fish. So I decided to try to sell him back to the fish store, after I moved him to a fish bowl for the day I noticed that there
