My clowns actually go to bed (ie. their favorite hiding/sleeping places about 20 minutes before the light goes out. Without fail. One sleeps in a cave in a piece of bogwood that's barely bigger than he is, and he always retires before the rest. Very cool fish. I agree with Martin; I've seen no sign at all that clowns are nocturnal by nature... they're always up to greet me in the morning soon after the light comes on (maybe begging for food...)
