My 15-gal. Eclipse1 tank is usually at a temperature between 76-78 degrees, and I've (knock on wood) not had a problem with my 3 clowns yet. I change the water (25%) at least once a week, along with the Eclipse1 filter. Maybe because I added the clowns after I'd had the tank operating for a couple months already, the biological environment was just right?? I can't seem to find any reference to Eclipse biological filter units on the Web, to compare with others' experience. It's so easy, no muss, no fuss.
