Do not fret Shelia, It is no great revelation that I am a poor speller. ...I have always been. It dates back to middle school when I was relocated from Pennslyvania's parochial school system to Florida's public schools. You see, education in Florida was further advanced at that grade level and I played catch up to learn my multiplicaton tables and phonics was skipped entirely. I still to this day have trouble with 7 times 8 and the inverse. Fortunately for me in my career fields speeling has never been a hinderance. The computer is a wonderful tool and spell checking software is forgiving. Most folks (who know me) will take greater stock in my ability to communicate verbally then how atrocious my speeling can get. Though, I see how some may view this as a lack of intelliigence on my part. Here I lack the tools and folks lack that personal insight. I lack the resources on this machine to cut evey post (prior to sending) to the clipboard and paste it into a word processer and run a spell check on it. While the other machines in my computer room could accomplish this they are for business use only. I plod away on this Micron on a 311 platform while a Gateway and Compaq (both with ISDN) lines are within feet of me. I would surely be the talk of the next unit leader meeting if I started using those lines for my personal use. If you think the spelling is bad in my posts ..you should see them if I don't use the electronic Franklin Bookman palm pilot always at my side. I'm afraid it is too late for me to learn anew what I should have years and years ago. Muzzie and Hooked on Phonics just don't appeal to me at this stage in my life. I mannage to get by and for those perfectionists in all of us there is always the cut and paste method I described above. Be forewarned, I am a poor speller. I hope this made you smile because that is what I'm doing right now. I can hardly believe this is for a loach forum and I'm thinking of starting a spellers anonymous. Hello my name is BB and it's been two posts since my last spelling mistake. ....I hpoe:) I appreciate the compliment and the constructive criticism. Thank you:) BB
