UPDATE On Pepper Base Ich Cure.

I e-mailed the author of the article found in the January FAMA. Sandy responded with the following: "I've been getting -- to say the least -- mixed views about the effects and the efficiency of the hot pepper cures. I hope they are only the first of better, and more effective cures in the future. I have tested the new freshwater hot pepper cures and have found them to be not very effective, but not especially dangerous to the fish."

Too bad. I may still purchase some and try it myself though. BB, note that the shelf life for these products is about one year.
