I have three 4" clown loaches. I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to tell how old these fish were and how fast I can anticipate them growing. Right now I have them in a 37 gallon tank but I have the intention of buying a 155 gallon in the future. How long do I have until they need to be moved if not already? I would like them to live for many years and to grow into large fish. The bigger the better. As of now they have an UG w/powerhead and a power filter on back. Ammonia and nitrite is nil and nitrates are barely measurable. Which leads me to my next question, How high of level can the nitrates be and still be acceptable.
Thanks, Rob
P.S. This site is great and it's nice to know that there are others who are as "weird" as I am about loaches.
