Python vac being discontinued???

I just tried to mail order a 50ft. Python gravel vac thru Marine Aquatics and the guy told me that they no longer carry it because it is being discontinued. He tried to sell me a Lee product that he stated was "almost identical." Does anyone know if this information is accurate?
