kuhli loach deaths

I have a 3' community tank, which until recently had 3 kuhlise in it. One I had had 8 years, so was not too surprised when it died. But a few days later, a 2 year old kuhli died, followed a week later by the remaining loach, also 2 years old. None of them showed any visible signs of disease, and had been acting normally and eating normally right up until their deaths. Has anyone else had this happen? It seems more than a coincedence to me. All the other fish are fine. I thought kuhlise were practically indestructable. Does anyone know of any diseases that are specific to kuhli loach? any comments would be appreciated, thank you!
