A variation on pattern for B. histrionica (Golden zebra loach)?

I hate to open up a whole 'nother can of worms, but I saw some fish at the store that I am almost positive are B. histrionica - and they were labelled Golden zebra loaches - but their pattern was different. I can usually tell histrionica from rostrata (I concluded the "mystery fish was rostrata also). Their colors are different, besides the banding.

All 4 of these fish had the same pattern, meaning all 4 showed the variation, so it wasnt just 1 fish with an odd pattern. Now, all the B. histrionica I have seen so far had their vertical bands as solid bands. Some of mine's vertical bands seem to bow out slightly into mild points along their lateral lines (see also Ken Child
