Active Kuhli loaches

Hi! I have had 3 kuhli loaches in my 29 gallon tank for about 3 months now. They always hid and I never saw them unless I looked in their hiding place. Recently they have been out all day looking for food, chasing each other or just doing the swim to the top, drop to the bottom bit for hours. Although I am delighted to be able to watch this behavior I am worried that this may be a sign of something wrong because their behavior has changed so dramatically. The only changes I have made is the types of fish kept. I had 2 angelfish, 2 dwarf gouramis, 6 zebra danios, 10 otos, and 2 cory cats along with my 3 kuhli loaches. I have recently cut down my fish load and now have the 3 kuhli loaches with 5 tiger barbs, 7 otos, 2 yoyo loaches and 2 Japanese "Amano" shrimp. My tank is densely planted wit
