new clown loaches

Just got two clown loaches yesterday. So many of your FAQ's suggest three. These two relaxed and began exploring and foraging almost immediately and seem very content today. Tank also holds six neons, two frogs. Can only two loaches be happy and healthy or should I get one more? (The tank is only a 30 gal.)
